See what matters

Live video, detection and tracking configured around your site.

Turn events into action

Alerts, images, review and acknowledgement in one workflow.

Connect the context

Link cameras and events to assets, maps and operational systems.

From a video stream to a useful workflow

A camera feed is one part of the workflow. Teams also need to recognize relevant events, understand where they happened, review supporting information and keep track of what has been addressed.

We develop the software that connects these steps: live viewing, analysis, annotated video, event handling and interfaces suited to the people using them. Detection, alerts and dashboards can be combined in one application or integrated into the tools your teams already use.

What we can build

Live video applications

Bring camera feeds into a web interface, organize views around sites or assets, and provide access to raw or annotated video. Application behaviour can reflect the available streams, user roles and monitoring needs.

Our work includes RTSP video acquisition and browser playback, with interfaces for viewing multiple cameras and accessing the context associated with a feed.

Computer vision for your use cases

Develop detection and tracking workflows for relevant objects, activities or conditions in a scene. Examples include people, protective equipment and posture-related events, with the analysis chosen for the task and the camera environment.

We adapt models, processing and presentation to the use case. We also develop visual detection and tracking of aerial objects, with PTZ camera integration where the project requires it. Object classes, camera conditions and the review workflow are defined around the site.

Alerts and event review

Turn detection events into alerts that users can filter, review and acknowledge. Interfaces can bring together the event, its location, the relevant camera, a snapshot and a recorded clip where available.

A useful alert workflow also keeps track of status and user comments. We design these interactions around how your team investigates and handles events.

Industrial monitoring and contextual views

Combine events with asset information, maps, 3D representations and dashboards. Monitoring can include information from video analysis and from industrial sensors or other systems.

For example, a team may need to locate an event on a network, inspect the affected asset and see related information in the same interface. We develop the applications and integrations needed to support that workflow.

Who this helps

Team A starting point for a discussion
EPC and integration partners A video analytics or monitoring application required within an industrial project
Site operations and control-room teams A connected view of video, events and asset context
HSE and security teams Detection and review workflows for situations that need attention
Asset and infrastructure teams Monitoring interfaces connecting events, equipment and location
IT and digital teams Integration with existing systems and an application architecture suited to the environment

Built around the project

We start with the events or tasks that matter to the team, then define the video sources, data, interfaces and expected user actions. This informs the choice of analysis, deployment environment and integration approach.

Our experience includes locally deployed software, modular processing and application packaging. The architecture is selected around the site's connectivity, infrastructure and operating requirements.

The solution can grow through additional views, detection workflows, data sources or teams. Reusable components support that progression, while the system is evaluated against the conditions and volumes relevant to each project.

Connecting video, monitoring and digital twins

Computer vision and digital twin applications can support related workflows. A video event can be associated with a site area or equipment record; sensor information can feed a contextual dashboard; a 3D view can help users locate the assets involved.

VBTech brings application and integration skills across these areas. We shape the combination around the client's needs and existing environment.

Start with the situation you want to understand

Tell us what your teams need to detect, monitor or investigate, how they work today and which cameras or systems are involved. We can then define an application that connects the information to a useful operational workflow.

Example workflows

A person enters a restricted area

A camera observes a configured site zone. The application associates a detection with that zone and creates an event for the responsible team. The operator reviews the image, checks the location and records a response. Zones, timing rules and notification routes follow your site procedures.

Protective equipment needs review

A detection flags a possible missing helmet in a defined camera view. The monitoring interface presents the image and context for review, rather than treating an automated detection as a final safety decision. Together we define camera placement, review rules and acceptance criteria for the conditions on site.

One event, the relevant asset

An event is linked to a site area or equipment record. The interface brings together the camera, status and map or 3D context so the team can investigate without searching across separate tools. This integration is designed around your available asset data and APIs.

These examples illustrate workflows we build around each project; they contain no client data.

Questions before starting

Can we use our existing cameras?

We review stream access, formats, camera positioning, image quality and network constraints. Existing RTSP sources can be part of the architecture; the exact camera and browser delivery path is agreed for your environment.

Can the application run on site?

We design for local, hosted or hybrid deployments according to your infrastructure, connectivity and access requirements. Processing capacity is sized against the streams and analysis you need.

How do we evaluate detection quality?

We agree the events to detect, representative footage, operating conditions and acceptance checks. Accuracy depends on the use case and camera conditions; testing includes missed events, false alerts and the work required of the reviewing team.

Can this connect to SDx or a digital twin?

Yes. We develop the application links between events, site areas and asset information using the interfaces available in your environment. Explore our SDx integrations and industrial digital twins for the engineering-information side of the workflow.
